bulb boy cheat sheetβ’
a quick rundown of all the info about my (brokenphilip's) OC and preferences in art
𧑠indicates strong preferences
last updated 16-Apr-25
summary
- represents my online persona - philip (nicknamed bulb boy or bulby), 09/09/2002, male (he/him), 178cm/5'10", 70kg/154lbs
- can be depicted in 2 ways:
1. 𧑠as a tf2 pyro - the "skin" is suit (red) or glove (dark gray) colored
2. as a human - lightbulb head & human (white/caucasian) body
outfit
- mann co. orange brigade helm w/ vivid plasma unusual effect (the effect is optional)
- mann co. orange filamental (massive lightbulb head with large yellow circles as eyes)
- mann co. orange north polar fleece (either normal or oversized sweater)
- orange-white striped thigh highs (preferred but not necessary, see gallery for examples)

preferences
- 𧑠transparent or dark-ish background for pfps (personally think it contrasts better & looks nicer)
- 𧑠the bulb head behaves/looks just like in tf2 (as opposed to an actual lightbulb): enough power to only light itself up (and maybe very near surroundings), mildly warm to the touch (instead of being able to burn you lol) and has a clearly visible filament ie. bulb wire (stands out by being too dark or light colored depending on style)
- cutesy pose/gesture/emotion (stuff like thumbs up, β, ππ, etc...) - violence and negative emotions ie. sadness & anger are 100% okay, but pretty situational and/or slightly out of character
- showing emotions via eye expressions by morphing the yellow circle eyes, or by changing the bulb's brightness (for example, dim when sleeping or sad, brighter when excited/surprised or angry, etc...)
- when animated, visible "talking" by morphing the filament or changing its brightness
- most importantly, i'm fine with almost all art that i get, though if you're really unsure pls feel free to DM me :3
gallery
- some of the art is old and has my old loadout (trickster's turnout gear instead of the north polar fleece)
